Descripción

Healing comes in waves so you have to be kinder to yourself when riding those waves. In this episode, my good friend Breanna Keller (phoenix and amazing woman) shared her experience with getting divorced and starting over in her 20s. She emphasized the importance of self love, mental health, watching out for red flags, and trusting our sense resilience. I learned so much from this chat and I hope you do too. Thank you again, Bree. You're amazing!

08. Shameless Self-Awareness is Key (with Carl Barnes)

It's always fascinating to catch up with someone who you have seen in a very long time. Carl Barnes is one such person. In the span of our conversation, we talked about how he plans out his professional life, what motivates him, addressing privilege, and the importance of proper communication. Yes, we covered a lot, but the underlying theme seems to be self-awareness. Barnes stresses the importance of knowing who you are and what you're about.  Lots of "aha" moments in this episode because we're so different. Learned a lot. Thanks so much Barnes for being a part of this. I can safely say you've come a long way from that being that kid I met back in SDSU :)  Hope you guys enjoy this episode and please check out Barnes' podcasts: "The RD2Be Podcast" and "One Man's Trash" (both are on Spotify).
