We'll explain how a simple piece of legislation was completely exploited to take advantage of and destabilize many countries of Latin America. We also talk about the United Fruit Company, who was a big driving force for the US to get involved, along with several other issues that the US thought needed to be addressed before there was too much influence from a certain party that lost in Europe but was given asylum in many South American countries.
