Above the Clouds Podcast
Welcome to the very first episode of The Golden Hour Sundays, a new live Bible discussion series within Above the Clouds. This is not a sermon from a stage. This is a table. A sacred space where Scripture is opened with trembling hands, honest questions are welcomed, and the Holy Spirit leads the conversation. I'm Charldene, and tonight I'm sitting with Henry Nwaneri. Lead Pastor, Prophetic Intercessor, Revivalist, and Worshipper. He came all the way from Canada at midnight his time. Not to perform. To break bread. Henry brought one Scripture: Luke 24, the road to Emmaus. The burning heart. The moment eyes open. And what unfolded was more than a Bible discussion. It became a prophetic encounter. In this episode, Henry teaches on the posture of the heart. Why two disciples could walk with Jesus for hours and not recognise Him, but John could see the glorified Christ and know exactly who He was. Intimacy was the difference. He speaks directly into disappointment. Into the cancelled wedding, the long journey, the desire to give up. And he prophesies over my life with a word only God could have given him, about flourishing, about beauty and war, about the harder route, and about the testimony that comes from intimacy, not from borrowed words. This episode faced real spiritual warfare. The screen froze. The audio echoed. The signal dropped. But Henry didn't stop. He kept teaching. Kept prophesying. And when I came back online, unable to hear a word he had said, I asked the exact question he was just about to answer. That wasn't me. That was the mighty hand of God. Here's what I hope you take from this episode: 🔥 The posture of your heart determines what you can see. 🍞 That revelation doesn't come on the road; it comes at the table. 🕯️ That your testimony comes from your intimacy with God, not from what you've heard. 💔 That disappointment can set you on a journey away from where God told you to stay, but Jesus will walk with you anyway. 🛡️ That the enemy fights what God is birthing, and the Word will still go out. Scripture we anchored into: 📖 "Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road?" — Luke 24:32 📖 "Beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself." — Luke 24:27 📖 "Then their eyes were opened and they recognised Him." — Luke 24:31 A special word for anyone who has been wounded by church leadership: Henry asked me why I don't currently attend church. What followed was one of the most honest, tender, and healing conversations I've ever had. If you've ever been hurt by a leader, misunderstood, or made to feel like you don't belong, this part of the episode is for you. Connect With Me & Join the Sanctuary: This isn't just a podcast.
