The instructions that came with the manna revealed an important truth: the abundant life God offers is found not in self-sufficiency, but in submission to His Word. We’ll also look at how the manna points forward to Jesus Christ, the true Bread of Heaven (John 6:30–35)—the One who satisfies our deepest hunger and invites us to live daily dependent on Him. The wilderness teaches us this: the abundant life is available to anyone who surrenders and submits to the Lord Jesus Christ.
