Descripción

i recently opened up about failure and what I’ve learned about it and what I’m still learning. originally, I wasn’t going to post this because the example of failure in my situation is minor compared to what a lot of people are struggling with, but after playing it back, I realized even though its minor it can be the case for others and it’s just one minuscule aspect of failure in my life. i took away a lot from this myself because this recording served as a self-reflection. I hope that it helps you guys in some way as well. let me know about your experiences with failure, what role they’ve played in your life, and what you’ve learned from them!

50 minutes to save the world

this is the documentary i watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wthTmQHmuZ0. it premiered june 14, 2019, but it absolutely is still relevant, any day, any time with the reality of the state our planet is in. if you can, watch it. i learned a lot from it, and most importantly, brought the reality to me. often enough, when you hear people saying the planet is dying and we need to change now, you dismiss it or briefly contemplate it and then move on. there’s no real connection because our brains haven’t processed the reality. we haven’t perceived it to be true. maybe because we need confirmation. and visual confirmation is normally the most accepted by people. this video was that first step for me and for many others as well. I’ve never gotten emotional about the state of the planet itself until seeing just a partial reality of that in this documentary.
