11. What have we been up to this year so far?
The All the Gear is back together to reflect on their aviation photography adventures throughout the first half of 2026! Join Dave Lockwood, Bradley Rogers, and Keiran Wilkinson as they welcome a brand new official voice to the team - Aled Phillips, who you might remember from Clifton Cameras. The guys cast their minds back across a packed few months, sharing the highlights, the brutal weather, and the hard-learned lessons of the year so far.
Microlight: The RIAT Cancellation Emergency Pod
Join Dave and Brad as they discuss the cancellation of Europe's largest airshow held annually at RAF Fairford. No Aled or Keiran as they are both enjoying the weather and a pint or three. We hear a crash in Bradley's bathroom and Sky Sports trying to interupt us, plus we discuss the cancellation and what it means for the team at Douglas Bader House, the local economy and the wider Airshow community.
10. Sharing your images with Kōlab
Are you tired of shouting into the void of algorithmic feeds just to get a few likes? In this episode of the All the Gear Podcast, Dave and Keiran sit down with Tom Dalt and Rich Cooper, the creative brains behind Kōlab, a brand-new social platform built specifically by photographers, for photographers. They dive deep into how Kōlab is bringing the joy back to sharing images through collaborative, themed "Missions" across aviation, landscape, and wildlife photography. Tom breaks down how they are using privacy-first artificial intelligence to provide meaningful feedback. Microlight: The Low Level Chase
Microlight: A Weekend of Beginner Friendly Photography
Welcome to our first-ever Microlight episode! In this new bite-sized format, Keiran and Bradley dive straight into the nitty-gritty of two completely opposing aviation shoots. * The Night Shoot: Bradley heads to Wellesbourne Airfield to capture the legendary Vulcan XM655. Hear about dialling in long exposures, waiting for the perfect sunset, and the reality of lying face-down in a puddle to get that iconic reflection shot. * The Action Shoot: Keiran hits Manchester Barton to put the OM System OM-1 Mark II through its paces, testing out electronic shutters and 7-stop image stabilisation by panning GA aircraft at a crazy 1/25th of a second. Plus, we talk gear (Canon full-frame vs OM System micro four-thirds) and share our top Lightroom tricks from these shoots, which are a great starting point for beginner photographers.
