Currently the Head Coach of the Female U18AAA Battlefords Sharks (2023), Nolan was named Coach of the Year in the Saskatchewan Female U18AAA Hockey League for the 2023-2024 season. Renowned for his exceptional skating and skills instruction and forward-thinking approach toward development, Nolan excels in communicating and connecting with his players. His coaching philosophy is grounded in providing a nurturing environment emphasizing skill repetition, problem-solving, and ongoing feedback to foster player success. In this episode, Nolan and I chat on all things female athletes. We discuss trends we see in the sport world and how he navigates through those challenges and emphasizes a holistic teaching in his coaching philosophy.
