This week, we began our discussion on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Jesus called his first disciples to follow Him and become fishers of men. We see three pillars that are essential for discipleship to Jesus: Abiding, obeying, and becoming.

Looking at Philippians 2 and Hebrews 10, we discussed four values that are fundamental to our spiritual family: Confrontation, honor, accountability, and purity. We do not commit to each other because people are perfect, we commit because Jesus is worthy, and love is how Christ is formed among us.
