Descripción

What if the most powerful step in generosity is simply knowing where to begin? As we conclude our mobilization series, we step back to see the full picture. Generosity isn’t meant to feel overwhelming or rushed. It unfolds over a lifetime, moving from our closest relationships outward into wider influence. In this final episode, we reflect on the four spheres of mobilization and refocus our attention on discernment, listening for the next best step God is inviting us to take right now. Mobilization becomes less about doing everything and more about faithfully doing something. In this episode, we explore: * Companion — encouraging generosity within marriage * Children — shaping generous hearts through modeling, conversation, and practice * Community — inviting others into generosity through shared stories and collaboration * Church (Global) — seeing how our giving connects to a larger movement God is unfolding As we close this series, we’re reminded that generosity doesn’t stop with transformation in us. It deepens as it’s shared. Our hope is that we would step forward with clarity and confidence, joining God in the bigger story He’s telling through generous lives.

Mobilization Part 3 | Community & Church

How do you go about inviting others into generosity beyond your family? In this episode, we look at how generosity flourishes within our everyday relationships and across the broader Church. We explore simple, relational ways to encourage others, not by pressure or expertise, but by sharing the stories, risks, and glimpses of God’s provision that have shaped us. Together, we consider how gathering people, giving alongside one another, and even entrusting others with resources can spark generosity that multiplies far beyond a single moment. In this episode, we explore: * Five pathways for mobilizing generosity in our communities: celebrating, congregating, collaborating, catalyzing, and championing. * Why story matters, and how sharing God’s larger narrative—rather than our own accomplishments—helps others see themselves invited in. * The role of safe, trusted spaces where honest conversations about money, fear, joy, and hope can unfold. * Giving circles as a way to learn together, broaden our perspectives, and experience shared momentum. * Mobilizing the wider Church by focusing on a specific motivation, dimension, or group where our calling is strongest. Generosity is much better in community and you may be the first spark for the blaze.

Mobilization Part 2 | Companion & Children

How do we encourage generosity in the people closest to us, beginning right inside our own homes? In this episode, we turn to the first two spheres of mobilization—companion and children—and explore how generosity grows most naturally when it begins with those we know best. We walk through the real, patient work of cultivating unity with a spouse, as well as the joy and responsibility of forming young hearts to see generosity as part of God’s larger story. In this episode, we explore: * Why alignment with a spouse transforms generosity from an individual effort into a shared journey. * The CARE pathway—communicate, align, refine, extend—as a practical path toward unity and multiplication in marriage. * How understanding each spouse’s motivations and domains strengthens mutual growth. * The stages of childhood development and how generosity takes shape at each age. * Five core beliefs that lay a lifelong foundation for generosity As we look at our closest relationships, we’re reminded that generosity grows strongest when nurtured in love, patience, and everyday faithfulness.

Mobilization Part 1 | Intro to Mobilization

How do we invite others into a life of generosity in ways that expand far beyond our own giving? In this episode, we open our final dimension of the generous life, Mobilization. We reflect on how inviting, encouraging, and equipping others can create a ripple effect far greater than anything we accomplish alone. As we trace the inner and outer circles of influence in our lives, we consider the quiet but transformative power of story, shared experience, and community. In this episode, we explore: * How mobilization extends generosity by inspiring others to take meaningful steps of their own. * Why sharing our stories with humility can unlock powerful ripple effects in others. * The four spheres of influence—companion, children, community, and church—and why mobilization begins closest to home. * The risks of journeying alone, from burnout to a narrow view of generosity. * Practical ways to find or build a generosity community that strengthens, sustains, and multiplies impact. We invite you to consider where your influence already reaches and how God might be opening new spaces to encourage generous living.

episode Investing Part 4 | Practical Steps artwork

Investing Part 4 | Practical Steps

How do we take meaningful next steps with our investments? In this final episode of the Investing series, we bring the entire framework together into a clear and practical pathway for action. After tracing the five tiers of capital and the four transitions that move resources between them, we turn our attention to understanding our own landscape—where our dollars currently sit, what purpose they serve, and which transition might be the right next step. This conversation is less about mastering the whole picture at once and more about making one faithful move toward alignment. In this episode, we explore: * How to map every account and asset into the five tiers: shadowed, illuminated, aligned, committed, and activated. * How each transition—investigation, harmonization, release, and activation—creates a distinct next step. * Why focusing on just one account or asset can open meaningful movement. * Practical actions for each transition, from using screening tools to setting finish lines to deploying committed capital. As we gain clarity on where our resources live today, we open the door to steady, Spirit-led steps that bring every part of our stewardship into deeper alignment with God’s kingdom.
