Descripción

What the h*ck is Lent? Why do Christians do it? How do we "do" it well? Why should we care about Lent, spiritual formations, and the liturgical calendar in light of the robust gospel? Join us in today's Lenten special of AYG as we attempt to slightly unpack the beauty of "rehearsing the drama of Jesus' life" with other followers at home and around the world. Thanks for being here! Here we go.

Are You Good? Episode 2 (ft. Ben Locke)

In this second episode of Are You Good?, I sat down with author Ben Locke to have an important and much needed conversation about suffering. Ben's life has been changed forever. A sudden onslaught of sexual abuse and chronic pain took away his dreams of playing professional soccer; in reality it took away his vision of ever living a normal life. But what he learned through his pain and suffering gave him a new vision for what his life could be: united fully in a way he never thought possible to the good God he thought he once knew. It was in Ben's suffering that his relationship with God took root. If you have ever been through suffering, trauma, and doubt, and thought to yourself, "How could a good God let this happen to me?" This is the episode for you. Connect with Ben [https://www.ben-locke.com/], and show him some love by checking out his journal In Our Suffering, Lord Be Near wherever books are sold!
