Descripción

In this message from Proverbs 5:15–21, we examine the "Wisdom of Marital Devotion" and God’s design for intimacy. Pastor Casey McCall addresses a topic often avoided in the church, reminding us that if we are not discipled by the Word of God regarding marriage and sex, we will inevitably be discipled by a broken culture. Far from being a "forbidden" subject, marital intimacy is presented in Scripture as a celebratory, exclusive gift from God.By looking at the creation account in Genesis and the wisdom of Proverbs, we see that marriage is a "one-flesh" union—a total joining of souls that points directly to the mystery of Christ’s love for His church. When we choose our spouses wisely and remain intoxicated in love with them, we protect the sacred covenant God has established. Ultimately, there is hope and restoration for any who have fallen short, as Christ offers forgiveness and the power to walk in newness of life.🖥️ Learn more at ashlandcc.net📱 Stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram!Subscribe for more sermons and share to encourage others!#Proverbs5 #Marriage #MaritalDevotion #OneFlesh #AshlandCommunityChurch

Blessed Beyond Measure (Ephesians 1:1-14)

In this message from Ephesians 1:1–14, we launch a new series through the book of Ephesians by asking a foundational question: What does it truly mean to be blessed by God? Pastor Casey McCall challenges our shallow, cultural definitions of blessings—which we often limit to material wealth or a distant ticket to heaven—and reveals the staggering, multi-dimensional reality of what we possess in Christ. By unpacking Paul’s monumental opening declaration, we discover that God has already lavished believers with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. Through a beautiful flyover of five distinct gospel realities, we see how the story of the church completely fulfills and reimagines the ultimate story of Israel: Election: Chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless. Adoption: Predestined to be brought into God’s forever family as legal heirs through His immense love. Redemption: Set entirely free from the bondage of our sin through the blood of Jesus. Revelation: Granted the grace to see and know the mystery of God's cosmic will. Inheritance: Sealed with the promised Holy Spirit as an absolute guarantee of our future glory. Ultimately, this passage gives us a brand-new identity and a new story. If you are in Christ, everything that belongs to Jesus now belongs to you. It is time to stop living on a restricted, "poor grace" budget and step fully into the victory and explosive love that Christ has already purchased for your daily life. 🖥️ Learn more at ashlandcc.net📱 Stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram!Subscribe for more sermons and share to encourage others!#Ephesians1 #BlessedBeyondMeasure #TheChurchTriumphant #InChrist #NewIdentity #AshlandCommunityChurch

The Lord's Prayer (John 17:20-23) | #TrinitySunday

In this message from John 17:20–23, we observe Trinity Sunday by leaning in to listen to the actual "Lord's Prayer" spoken on the eve of His crucifixion. Pastor Logan Armstrong reminds us that in these critical moments, Jesus wasn't just praying for Himself or His immediate disciples—He explicitly called out to the Father on behalf of you and me. The message highlights three crucial areas emphasized in Jesus' prayer for the future church:Oneness: Jesus prays for a deep, experiential unity among believers that mirrors the eternal, perfectly unified relationship between the Father and the Son. This oneness is not passive; it requires an active commitment from every member to guard doctrine, act in love, and protect the family of God. Glory: Though we enter a relationship with Christ having nothing to offer but our own sin and brokenness, Jesus completely covers us and shares His eternal, divine glory with His people. The World: The ultimate end-game of the church's unity is a global witness. Jesus intends for the nations to witness the supernatural love of His people so that the world may believe and know that the Father sent the Son. As we wrap up our "Ends of the Earth" missions week, we can find ultimate peace knowing that our success does not rely on worldly structures or political power. Our standing is secure because the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is entirely devoted to us, and Jesus Christ continues to intercede for us at the Father's right hand at this very moment. 🖥️ Learn more at ashlandcc.net📱 Stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram!Subscribe for more sermons and share to encourage others!#John17 #TheLordsPrayer #TrinitySunday #ChristianUnity #EndsOfTheEarth #AshlandCommunityChurch

episode The Ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) artwork

The Ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)

In this message from 2 Corinthians 5:18–21, guest preacher and Ashland Community Church member, Brother Faustin Kayinamura kicks off our "Ends of the Earth" missions week with a powerful message on "The Ministry of Reconciliation". While many religious cultures focus heavily on human effort and legalistic "do's and don'ts," biblical wisdom reminds us that the gospel always establishes the why before giving us the what. Before we are called to act, we must be deeply anchored in what Christ has already accomplished on our behalf. The scriptures remind us of our broken state apart from Christ—we were completely dead, corrupt, and in a state of condemnation. Yet, out of infinite mercy, God chose not to count our trespasses against us. Through the perfect substitutionary work of Jesus on the cross, He paid our debt in full, taking our sins away and imputing His holy righteousness to us. Because we have been completely reconciled to God, we are now left here on earth to serve as His official ambassadors. Every single blood-bought believer is entrusted with this vital message of reconciliation—whether in our workplaces, our local neighborhoods, or by supporting global missions to the ends of the earth. Sharing this truth doesn’t require advanced theological degrees; it simply demands a willingness to declare: "I was blind, but now I see." As we consider the Great Commission, let us joyfully give of our prayers, our finances, and our lives so that the Lamb who was slain might receive the full reward of His suffering. 🖥️ Learn more at ashlandcc.net 📱 Stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram! episode The Wisdom of Godly Parenting (Proverbs 3:11-12) artwork

The Wisdom of Godly Parenting (Proverbs 3:11-12)

In this message from Proverbs 3:11–12, we conclude our series in the Book of Proverbs by exploring the "Wisdom of Godly Parenting". Pastor Casey McCall addresses the insecurities and pressures facing parents today, confronting our therapeutic culture that prioritizes immediate happiness over long-term character. Biblical wisdom, however, shows us that the ultimate goal of parenting is not our children's momentary comfort, but training them in the fear of the Lord. True, Godly parenting is modeled after our Father in heaven, whose discipline is always motivated by deep, sacrificial love. To fulfill this calling, parents are given essential tools: the powerful example of their own lives, loving and controlled discipline, and diligent everyday instruction. Ultimately, while parents cannot control or guarantee the final outcome of their children's choices, they are called to remain faithful to Jesus, resting in His grace and gospel. 🖥️ Learn more at ashlandcc.net📱 Stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram!Subscribe for more sermons and share to encourage others!#Proverbs3 #GodlyParenting #BiblicalWisdom #FamilyDiscipleship #AshlandCommunityChurch #PastorCaseyMcCall #Gospel #FaithfulParenting
