Ask Me When It Hurts
What does it really mean to be “fun” — and what happens when you change? In this Episode of Ask Me When It Hurts, I talk about growing out of party culture, burnout into therapy, setting boundaries and why a quiet, mindful 35th birthday with no hangover was exactly what I needed. I share how loneliness, bullying, racism and sexism shaped my younger self, and why quitting drinking and smoking meant also walking away from people who only liked the unhealthy version of me. To close, I want to leave you with two questions I now ask myself and the other people around me. 1 st Question of the week: What do you do to make other people happy? 2 nd Question of the week: What do you do to make yourself happy?
