55: Surprise!

TOPICS: Jon is finally back after the move, though the boxes say the job isn’t quite done yet. While he’s still unpacking, Rich and Bryce surprised him with a belated birthday gift—an awesome Shoei Neotech 3 helmet featuring custom airbrush paint. Not wasting any time, Jon joined up with a local Spyder group and took a ride out to The Snake and the Back of the Dragon. Meanwhile, Dave has been busy adding a few more Tour of Honor sites to his list and recently completed his 1,000-mile service. He also shared some thoughts on his new bike, giving a quick comparison to his previous ride. Jon and Natalie flew out to Texas for Chad’s surprise birthday weekend, while Chris rode all the way down to join in on the celebration. After the party, Chris took the scenic route home, turning it into a serious riding trip. He managed to hit 16 ToH sites along the way, but it came with a realization—he’s a bit out of shape for long-distance riding. With summer rallies coming up, he’s now focused on getting back into riding condition.
