The platform helps Gen-Z practice real life social interactions, build confidence, and eventually form meaningful friendships offline. Loneliness among young people is increasingly described as a global issue. Despite being the most connected generation online, Gen-Z is also one of the loneliest. Some studies suggest that more than half of Gen-Z experiences loneliness. fredie focuses on improving what founder Lili Vogelsang calls Social Quotient (SQ). Just like IQ measures intelligence and EQ emotional intelligence, SQ relates to our ability to connect with others. In this conversation we discuss the loneliness epidemic, how social skills can be trained, and why even a few minutes of daily practice may improve confidence in social situations.
