Milo - Grimecore ────────────────────────────────── Milo aka milo schlimmfingr is curating the monthly mixes on bassmusik.ch. He develops conceptual dj sets mostly under different aliases. «Grimecore» was a set played on February 2017 for an experimental & noise night (w/ Fezaya, Purpura and Musikgesellschaft) at the collective-run clubspace at Wasserwerkstr.89a in Zurich. «Grimecore» is based on a deep research about queer identities and the role of LGBT music producers and the collective form of releasing music. Some of the featured artist in this set are dealing with postcolonial topics, questioning roles of identity and the economical, neoliberal and technological influences on our society. You can hear an assemblage of spoken word pieces, bullet shots, scarps of weird noise, industrial and vaporous sonics. P-Tess - Acid Bass https://soundcloud.com/p-tess ────────────────────────────────── Since her debut in a squat in 2003, P-tess has been playing vinyl behind the decks – started from Oldschool Rap and Miami Bass - later with Abstract Hip-Hop, Grime, Dubstep and Electrobeats - and today with Rap, Trap, Synthstep, Jungle and UK Garage; the theme is Bass. Around ten years P-tess was broadcasting monthly with her radio partner Nigel in the radio show "Mic Sounds Nice" on the localradio LoRa. In the "Raphistory", founded by DJ Soulsonic and Ceo Müller, she performed as a lecturer for the years 2004, 2006 and 2009. She supported various nights of the Zurich labels Quiet and Hula Honeys, played at some legendary Binzparties, framed 2Mex, Themselfes, YO!Majesty, SpeechDabelle, Scroobious Pip vs. Dans le Sac, Tokimonsta and Dam Funk, as well as Jurczok 1001 and None of them with her sets. As a co-organizer of the concert-series "The Puddle", she regularly got international acts like Coco Bryce, Simon/Off, Soom T., Baths, Candy Hank or Bigote on stages in Zurich or Basel. Manning the decks as Krizzli, he regularly performs in Switzerland alongside his friends from Kartel Klub and recently started to invest European scenes as well. His raw productions featuring a combination of menacing drum patterns and vicious forays into the realm of cavernous basslines got him released on labels such as Files Rec., [re]sources and Clubwerks. In November 2016, Krizzli performs his first electronic live show with London-based MC DeeJillz during the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender in Zurich.
