Becoming the Builder
Belonging has been a predominant theme throughout this month, and the inquiry into belonging is not prompted by any doubts regarding our credentials. Rather, it stems from our own questioning of them. In this episode, I examine the concept of the knowledge ceiling: the gap between what I know and what I feel I'm allowed to claim Across three different roles, I repeatedly encounter the same obstacle. I am realizing that this issue is not rooted in competence. Instead, it pertains to belonging. Competence is something you build. Belonging is something you claim. Overcoming impostor syndrome is not simply about skill but about cultivating a sense of belonging.
