Descripción

In this episode, I explore the art of letting go of people who no longer serve you or recognise your worth. I share why setting boundaries with yourself is important and why it's okay to walk away from those who drain your energy or don't align with your values. I reflect on the unhealthy habit many of us have of holding onto the hope of who someone could become, or that a connection we've outgrown will return to what it once was. Letting go is painful, yet it is a privilege to have loved deeply enough to feel that hurt. Walking away is an act of strength - despite the pain, you are choosing yourself.

Expectations and Misunderstandings

In a world where everyone wants to be seen, heard, and understood, why do we so often expect that from others first—without pausing to offer it ourselves? In this episode, I’m joined by Jennifer Tee (@Jenteemusic) to explore the complexities of expectations. The conversation looks at how people move through life on different timelines, and how lessons arrive at different moments for different individuals. It reflects on why seeking understanding matters, and how it can act as a bridge that deepens relationships, even though it is often mistaken for criticism. The episode also questions whether it is fair to hold someone to a specific set of expectations if those ways of being do not come naturally to them. How do you know when someone is meant to stay in your life, and when it is time to walk away?
