Beyond Borders
Denmark is one of the happiest places on earth. So why is its government forcing thousands of people out of their homes on account of where they live and who they are? Adam Charlton and David Foster go inside Denmark's controversial "Parallel Societies" policy - a social experiment that's demolished neighbourhoods and broken up communities. Now it’s being legally challenged as potentially unlawful racial discrimination. They meet the residents left behind in near-empty tower blocks, the lawyer fighting to bring the whole thing down, and the activists who took 50,000 signatures to Parliament, only to be ignored. The Danish government calls it integration. The people living through it call it discrimination. What happens when the state decides your community is the problem? Watch the full documentary, "Ghetto Blasted: Integration or Discrimination?" and tell us: is this pioneering social policy, or state-sanctioned discrimination?
