Today, as we sit in the rocking chairs on the porch of our bayou cabin, we discuss all things gigantic. No, I don't mean really big fish or the over weight raccoons that keep eating the old left overs from the garbage cans outside. I'm talking about giants, their parents - the Nephelim, and their parents - the watchers. These man-like creatures are rooted deep in biblical history, but did you know that they have ties to our own history here in the states as well? Lagniappe means "a little extra" in Cajun French, so these shorter episodes are going to be just that. Short extras that didn't make it into a full-length episode. For the first one I (Jake) talk about the interstellar visitor currently soaring through our galaxy. Is it a giant comet? Is it an extra-terrestrial probe sent to observe and possibly attack us? Welcome to the second episode of the show! Listen along as we travel beyond the bayou to talk about the weird stuff in Louisiana, from the Rougarou to hauntings in and around our town. FIRST. AND. FOREMOST (Jake here), I’d like to correct something I said towards the end of the episode. I mentioned our music minister and eventually having him on to discuss some very cool things (listen to the episode to get a very small glimpse of what I’m talking about). I referred to him as “Mr. Jamison May”, I want to correct this… DOCTOR Jamison May worked very hard and long on getting his doctorate, and deserves to have his title referred to as Dr. So, I apologize for that. ANYWAY. You'll have to excuse all the sniffing and snorting that we weren't able to edit out, we were both coming down off of an allergy attack, and we didn't have time to go and re-record the whole episode.
