Hey Mamas and Listeners!! Welcome back to the Black Millennial Mamas podcast! We are so excited to be back from our winter break to bring you fresh new topics and updates!! On this episode, Vic and Tasha recapped their current struggles with co-parenting and how it affects their daily lives. Both expressed issues with communication and consistency with the fathers of their children and the best route to solve their concerns was to cut all contact for the time being. Also, Bri gave her take on the topic sharing her experience watching her mother struggle with similar issues when she was growing up. What advice would you give a friend who’s having issues with co-parenting? Let us know in the comments! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and subscribe to our YouTube @BlackMillennialMamas ♥️

S4 EP5 - Holiday Time, Being a Girl's Girl and Embracing NOT Wearing Wigs Hey Mamas! Our 2024 Wrap up is here! On today’s episode, the girls discussed their holiday agenda and plans and goals for the new year. We also squeezed in some hot topics from the media. Vic, presented a question to the group and asked what does it truly mean to be a girl’s girl. Next, we gave our thoughts on a recent viral video from the Gotta be Me podcast page. The page is ran by mixed race Amish sisters who gave their thoughts on why black women shouldn’t rely on wigs and lashes and should present them selves more naturally. That’s it for 2024! Have a safe and happy holiday from The Black Millennial Mamas, and we will see you next year! Peace and love 🎉🍾🎊

Hey Mamas! The girls are back with another great episode and we are about to fill your cups with some piping hot tea! First topic on the list is about the recent release of Young Thug. Vic caught us up on his parole requirements and let’s just say inner city Atlanta won’t be seeing too much of him. Also we touched on the speculated beef between Gunna and Thug, there was some tweets that suggested they aren’t really cool anymore. We couldn’t verify if the tweets are valid but we’ll be keeping an eye on the situation. We transitioned from Young Thug’s release to another rapper’s arrest! We spoke about Lil Durk’s arrest and charges for murder for hire. We gave our thoughts on the situation and wondered if the public’s opinion of him sliding for King Von had anything to do with his actions. We wrapped our segment up with Ari and Jayda Wayda’s recent TikToks and they both went viral for 2 very different reasons. Ari recently posted a TikTok with her son doing the suspect challenge and it seems she may have hurt Yosohn’s feelings with her comments about not wanting to be with his father. Lastly, we gave our opinions about the comments that was left on Jayda Waydas post featuring her son, and there was a lot of criticism about Loyal’s mannerisms being feminine and we didn’t agree with the demeaning comments that was left on the post. Bri stated “let the kid be a kid!” What are your opinions about speaking on other people’s children? Let us know in the comments!

Hey Listeners! In this week's episode, we discussed work-from-home moms and stay-at-home moms; are they the same these days? We also got in Erica and Safaree's business with the latest of her hopping his gate and the two arguing badly in front of their kids. She also shared a calendar showing the number of days he's had the kids this year. What lengths would you go to for your child? A mother who had an active warrant goes to the police department where her son is being held for questioning for a murder he knew about but decided not to talk about at the time...until his mama came through those doors. We know this is a late one, but better late than never. Make sure to follow us at Black Millennial Mamas on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube!

Hey Mamas! On today’s episode we are coming in hot with our first special guest for this season! We introduced the wonderful, Ms. Shelah Marie, to our podcast and a time was had! She is a women’s wellness influencer, the founder of Curvy, Curly, Conscious movement, also an Award-nominated TV show Host for Couch Conversations this year and the list goes on and on!!! We had the pleasure to review her new book, “Unruly: A guide to reclaiming your true self,” and it was definitely a great read! We had the opportunity to pick her brain and dive in deep about the many topics she had in her book. Some of the things we learned were, what it means to be UNRULY, ways to meditate and manifest, and also how to bring out that Main Character energy! It was truly a delight to have her as a guest and if you are ready to catch some “GEMS” make sure to tune in and listen. Her book drops October 22, 2024 in all formats.
