Good morning, friend. Have you ever found yourself overthinking a decision, wondering, “What will they think of me? Will they approve?” I know I have. In both work and life, it’s all too easy to slip into the trap of approval addiction—letting other people’s opinions shape our choices and chip away at our confidence. Over time, I’ve realized God wants so much more for us: a life rooted in His love and approval, not bound by the shifting expectations of those around us. As we start this new week, I want to share a prayer that’s helped me break free from the need for affirmation and live for an audience of God the Father, Jesus, the One. God, You know how easy it is for us to measure ourselves by what others think, to let their opinions cloud who we were made to be. Sometimes I worry too much about fitting in or making people happy, and it can hold me back from the life you’ve called me to. Jesus, help me to get my approval from you, not from others, so that I do not easily fall into a path of man-pleasing. Holy Spirit, remind me that your love is steady, that I’m your handiwork—created on purpose and for a purpose. Give me a clear mind and a courageous heart today. Let your approval be enough for me. Even if I don’t get applause or understanding, help me move forward in faith, anchored in your love and led by your wisdom. May I walk in freedom and joy this week, found in Jesus Christ, living for you—my audience of One. Amen.

Embracing a Season of Surprises and Double Blessings

Yesterday, as I prayed with our Workplace Prayer intercessors, the phrase “Bonus Week” jumped out in my spirit. With Memorial Day landing earlier this year, we’ve been handed a few extra days—almost like an unexpected extension to our week. Friend, my prayer for your Bonus Week is anchored in the goodness of God, as in Deuteronomy 8:18. I believe this is a time to look for new beginnings, fresh provision, settled peace, and some good surprises. Maybe it’s reconnecting with someone, finding what you thought was gone, or seeing doors open you didn’t expect. Let’s adopt the mindset: we are in a new season, granting us a few different types of bonuses. Join me in prayer as we enter into a bonus day season with open hands and grateful hearts, ready for God’s unique favor and wisdom. Generous and gracious God, thank You for Your covenant and for giving us Your supernatural help to thrive. Let this week, and this season, overflow with creative inspiration, new opportunities, and wise choices. May forgotten resources be recovered, setbacks turn into progress, and every obstacle becoming a stepping stone to a greater blessing. Bonus! Bonus! Bonus! Bring about fresh partnerships, purposeful relationships, and infectious joy for what’s ahead. Replace anxiety with steady confidence, and let hope break through in every circumstance. Draw us into meaningful connections, awaken new visions, and pour out Your power for restoration and remarkable breakthroughs. Let this day, this week, this season mark a year of multiple, multiplied favor and abundant growth—a double-blessing year, a Mount Rushmore year, a true “wow” year for all, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Clarity, Partnerships, and Prosperity

Hello friends, and welcome to the first Tuesday after Memorial Day—the unofficial start of summer and the last week of May. As we gather for Workplace Prayer, I’m reflecting on Rabbi Daniel Lapin’s teachings about the Hebrew calendar and the month of Sivan, which marks a strategic season for business, income streams, and covenant alignment. Today, let’s turn our focus to God’s faithfulness as we prepare our hearts for new opportunities, kingdom partnerships, and prosperity in every area of our work and lives. Our Prayer for the Day: Father, thank You for this season of covenant alignment. We ask for clarity, wisdom, and discernment in every business decision. Guide us to strong, ethical partnerships and open new income streams. According to Deuteronomy 8:18, You give us the power to create wealth—release fresh creativity and strategies to us. Guard our hearts with Your peace and surround us with Your favor. Prosper us in spirit, soul, and body, and let our work reflect Your covenant and bring You glory. Amen.

Jesus Promised Power in the Spirit

The focus: Prepare for Pentecost Power Prevailing Scripture: Acts 1:4–8 As our “Risen Indeed” journey culminates, we stand with the disciples in the days between resurrection and Pentecost. For forty days, Jesus appeared, taught, and prepared His friends for a remarkable promise: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” The focus now shifts from Jesus’ physical presence to the coming of the Spirit—God’s presence within us, equipping and empowering us for all He calls us to do. These days are not just about waiting—they are about preparing our hearts for a new outpouring of God’s life. The Holy Spirit brings guidance, comfort, boldness, and an unshakable hope. As we look to Pentecost, let’s open ourselves to a fresh move of God, trusting that His Spirit will fill us with everything we need for the journey ahead. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now longs to dwell in us and through us. Let us pray: Risen Lord, thank You for the promise of Your Spirit. Prepare my heart for all You want to do in me and through me. Fill me with Your power, wisdom, and love. As I wait, help me trust Your timing and open myself to Your transforming presence. Let Pentecost power bring new life, courage, and hope to my soul and to the world through me. Amen.

Jesus Breathes His Spirit into Us

The Focus: We Are Empowered Scripture: John 20:21–22 As our “Risen Indeed” journey continues, we witness a sacred moment: Jesus breathes on His disciples and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” What began in fear now shifts to bold commissioning. This is more than just comfort—it’s a call to go, equipped with divine power. Jesus doesn’t send us in our own strength. He fills us with His Spirit—God’s empowering presence—so we can bring His hope, forgiveness, and love into the world. Even when we feel weak or unqualified, He offers all we need. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us, fueling courage, compassion, and creativity for every mission He gives. Let’s open ourselves to the Spirit’s empowering breath this week. May we step into new opportunities, confident that God goes before us and works through us. Let’s pray, Risen Jesus, breathe your spirit into my life. May you again fill, refresh, and revive me. Pour out upon me the wine of Your life and the river of living water, renewing my soul. Anoint me with the oil of gladness and the fire of the Holy Ghost, igniting passion and boldness within. Let the roar of the Lion awaken courage, and the love of the Lamb bring restoration and reconciliation. May Your Spirit’s outpouring empower me to serve, witness, and love others. Use my life for Your glory, and let me overflow with Your presence every day. Amen.
