episode S3 | EP1: The Rebelliousness of Rest artwork

S3 | EP1: The Rebelliousness of Rest

This episode is about listening to YOUR OWN RHYTHMS and the rebellious act of rest. In Western culture we don’t know how to do that very well. We tend to feel guilty or lazy, often asking: Did I do enough? Am I valuable enough? But, what is enough? And by whose measurements and standards? Who gets to judge our value? We are worthy, simply because we are. YOU are worthy. Simply because YOU are. So, when value and commodity is woven into the very backbone of our society, how does one reclaim the wild rebelliousness of rest? Because that's exactly what rest has become... an act of rebellion. A refusal to take part in a life that is unsustainable. A refusal to be used up and burnt out. A refusal to ignore your own sacred rhythm. I think it's more than creating a moment of rest but rather a sustainable life. Which is often found in the spaces in between.

Season 2 | Episode 6 | Keith Giles on Transformation, Creativity and Divine Knowing

Today's guest is no stranger to change and transformation - he has walked many people through it with patience and grace and certainly faced it himself. Keith Giles is an author, podcaster and co-owner of Quoir Publishing. He's also a former pastor who left the pulpit to start a house church where no one was paid and 100% of funds were given to help those in need within their community.  He has been a published writer since 1989 and has written several books, including the 7 part "Jesus Un" series where he challenges widely held beliefs within Christianity.  Keith's latest series Sola Mysterium and Sola Deus celebrates uncertainty and asks even bigger questions like: "What if God is all of us?"
