Interview w/ Sophie Riley, 'It's Not the End of the World'
Today's episode is an author interview celebrating the debut of author Sophie Riley! INTEOTW is a zombie-apocalypse, mother-daughter road trip novel for YA (and older) audiences. It has discussions of familial relationships with careful coverage of the ways in which parents can become distant from their children, and the things that can sometimes bring us back together. Also while discussing wilderness 'therapy' camps, the dynamics between strangers at the end of the world, and ultimately the ways that our younger generations are faced by challenges much smaller, but much harder, than the end of the world. socials: holly.eon daisyinkbooks purely.sophia https://www.amazon.com/Its-Not-World-Sophie-Riley-ebook/dp/B0GRD25751
Plotter vs Planster
We went on a biiiig ramble today but talked about the different ways people plan (or don't) their novels. And how those sorts of ways also impact how we view art, and people, and how progress is made on and off the page.socials:holly.eondaisyinkbooks

'Jane Eyre' by Charlotte Bronte
This episode we talked about one of the classics: 'Jane Eyre'. Specifically, we touch on the representation of Jane and Bertha, the way in which our family circumstances dictate our experiences with life, and a little bit about AI slop plaguing the internet. socials: holly.eondaisyinkbooks
