In this episode we first report on the outcome of in person council meetings.  Then we sit up and take notice that Mayor Grisanti thinks that the council members take up too much of the meeting time with their own bloviating (hint: he's right)  Then when we finally get down to business we pick up where we left off in episode #1 and discuss the conflicts between commercial and residential applications of the Malibu Zoning Code, otherwise known as the L.I.P.

We start with the "head's up" that the City Council is reconsidering its previous decision to go back to live only Council Meetings, after some strong push back from the residents.  After that, we start our foray into understanding the Malibu Zoning Code with a brief background on the contentious nature of development in Malibu.
