Descripción

In this episode, we explore the sober side of “faith according to Jesus”: what He referred to as "no faith". First, we go to Nazareth, where the people who knew Jesus best were “offended” at Him, and He marveled at their unbelief, doing only a few miracles there because their hearts were closed.  Then we walk into the valley of Mark 9, where a desperate father brings his demon‑tormented son, the disciples cannot help, and Jesus calls out a “faithless generation” even as the father cries, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” Along the way, we’ll see the difference between weak faith and no faith, how familiarity without honor and ministry without dependence can shut us off from what Jesus wants to do, and how to bring our unbelief honestly to Him so He can strengthen our faith and trust in Him rather than leave us in the state we are in.  Order the book: But What Did GOD Say?™ The Book — Understanding God’s Communication But What Did GOD Say?_Book [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6C97JWK] Download the App: But What Did GOD Say?™ The App But-What-Did-GOD-Say-app [https://but-what-did-god-say-app.base44.app/home?is_new_user=true]  Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the music used in the intro and outro of this content. Faith According to Jesus: Faith That Jesus Sees

In our “Faith According to Jesus” series, this episode walks through Luke 5:17–26 (with the parallel in Mark 2:1–12), where four friends carry a paralyzed man, break through the crowd, and lower him through the roof to Jesus. We sit with the phrase “When He saw their faith” and watch how Jesus goes to the deepest need first—calling the man “Son” and forgiving his sins—before healing his body in front of everyone. Along the way, we look for where we are in this story—sometimes on the bed needing to be carried, sometimes as the friends holding the mat—and what it means to walk in the kind of faith Jesus sees, bringing ourselves and the people we love to Him even when the way seems blocked. Faith According to Jesus - Faith that Makes Whole

In this episode of our “Faith According to Jesus” series, we look at two encounters with Jesus: the woman in Mark 5:25-34 who had suffered for twelve years, and the one leper in Luke 17:11-19 who returned to give thanks after being cleansed. Both stories show us that wholeness is deeper than relief. The woman reaches for Jesus with the last strength in her body, and the Samaritan returns to Jesus with gratitude in his heart. Together, these passages help us see that faith that makes whole reaches for Jesus, receives from Jesus, and returns to Jesus. Faith According to Jesus - Faith Tested, But Not Destroyed

What happens when our faith is shaken to the core, and we fail God in the very area we thought we were strong? In this episode of “Faith According to Jesus,” we walk with Peter through Luke 22:31–32, 54–62. We listen as Jesus warns Peter about Satan’s sifting, prays that his faith will not fail, and then watches Peter deny Him three times—and we see the bitter tears of repentance that Jesus had already prayed for in advance. If you’ve ever felt like your faith has been sifted or wondered if God is finished with you after a fall, this conversation is for you. Join me as a witness and a learner as we discover what “faith tested, but not destroyed” looks like in the life of Peter—and in our own lives today.  Order the book: But What Did GOD Say?™ The Book — Understanding God’s Communication But What Did GOD Say?_Book [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6C97JWK] Download the App: But What Did GOD Say?™ The App But-What-Did-GOD-Say-app [https://but-what-did-god-say-app.base44.app/home?is_new_user=true]  Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the music used in the intro and outro of this content. episode Faith According to Jesus: Faith That Acts artwork

Faith According to Jesus: Faith That Acts

In this episode, we return to the moment that led Jesus to say, “Have faith in God.” This wasn’t a random slogan about faith—it was a response to a real situation the disciples had just witnessed. They saw the fig tree wither and had to wrestle with what Jesus said and did in that moment. We walk through the kind of faith Jesus was actually talking about in Mark 11:20–25—how it acts, how it is activated, and how it brings glory to the Father. We also pay attention to what Jesus refused to separate from faith: forgiveness. According to Jesus, faith that speaks, asks, and believes must also forgive, or we miss the heart of His instruction. Scripture references: Mark 11:12–25; Matthew 21:18–22; John 15:7; Matthew 6:14–15; James 1:6–7; Romans 4:20–21  Order the book: But What Did GOD Say?™ The Book — Understanding God’s Communication But What Did GOD Say?_Book [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6C97JWK] Download the App: But What Did GOD Say?™ The App But-What-Did-GOD-Say-app [https://but-what-did-god-say-app.base44.app/home?is_new_user=true]  Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the music used in the intro and outro of this content.
