Call the Nurse
This episode almost didn’t happen. Five years ago in Florida, I gave up my seat to a woman waiting outside a restaurant. We started talking, and something about her stayed with me—but I almost left it at that. Instead, I went back to find her. That woman is Faith. What began as a simple moment turned into something neither of us expected—we became family, meeting each other at a time when we both needed it most. And we talk about this in the episode… how much would have been lost for both of us if I hadn’t gone back before leaving that night. Still full of life and living independently, Faith sat down with me in a Florida studio at 100 years old to share what a CENTURY of Life has shown her. She’s lived through decades of change, yet one thing she feels deeply is what we’ve lost along the way: real human connection. From stories of the Rat Pack era to her honest thoughts on today’s world, Faith doesn’t give a list of rules—she offers something more meaningful: A way of seeing life. A reminder of what we forget. And a perspective most of us don’t slow down long enough to hear. Her message is simple:Live. Laugh. Love. But after 100 years of life… it becomes something much deeper. This episode is about connection, presence, and the small moments we almost miss—the ones that end up changing everything. 🎙️Connect with Mindie!
