Today we will be speaking with Paige Braun, the founder of the Fort Smith Lambda Society: a nonprofit organization grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and cared for. We will discuss her organization's mission that includes helping kids receive school supplies. We will talk about her passion for building community across the state. We will also discuss her efforts to create a local pride event. Finally, we will discuss voting issues in the LGBTQ+ community.

Voter Education

Today we are going to talk about voter education. We will be speaking with the executive director of Arkansas Civic Action Network. We will discuss her work in a red state with some of the lowest civic engagement rates in the country. We will break down effective voter engagement strategies. We will also talk about the Democratic Party’s problems with voter education and look at possible solutions.

Today we will be speaking with a Democratic strategist who has built a national audience through digital media. We will hear about his story and work that focuses on politics, accountability and social justice. We will discuss his strategy to reach voters on digital platforms. We will also talk about the rise of Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 election, voter engagement issues, problems within the Democratic Party and possible solutions.

Youth Voting in America

Today we're going to talk about a very important issue - youth voting in America. We'll be speaking with Billy Cook, president of the Young Democrats of Arkansas. He is a young activist who is leading the fight in Arkansas. We're going to hear about his story and work in one of the reddest states in America. We'll also discuss youth voting across the country. We're going to talk about why the Democratic Party continues to lose young voters. We also break down strategies and look at possible solutions.
