Chapter 905
Open up this chapter with me as we discuss and explore the effects of experiencing “fomo” as a Christian. “Fomo” is defined as a “Fear of Missing Out.” Sometimes, out of habit, we still miss the water that came out from the well, even though we have access to water far greater, living water. But we mustn't confuse what we are truly thirsting for.Submit it all onto Him as we get to the root of the fears we may have to “miss out.” Speaking on the topics of healing and restoration, we dive into the story of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5. From highlighting the importance of not placing confidence in our flesh, to breaking down the grief that accompanies the death of our flesh. Don’t go back to the well, you’re not missing out. Instead, go and proclaim the good news of the Messiah. Hopefully, we can all replace our fears of missing out with a joy to miss out on the world, for Christ. I look forward to seeing you in the next chapter. - Dami B. "So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. "1 Peter 1:14 NLT
