S1 W1: Themes, Strands, and Expectations

WELCOME BACK TO CHASING THE CHALLENGE! We're so excited to be back into a rhythm with the podcast. This week, we talked about the themes of our Challenge levels, what the strands entail, our hopes, expectations, goals, and fears. Our verse this week was Colossians 3:13, "bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." Spending Time with God

Spending time with God is something most Christians know we’re supposed to do to grow in our relationship with Him, but how exactly do we do that?

Recommendations

As a Christians, there are a lot of things that are hard to find. That goes from good music, wholesome TV shows, to appropriate swimsuits and shorts. We've made a list of great things to take advantage of this summer and throughout the year! Stewarding Summer

We are often told to use our time wisely. During the summer, we have a lot of it to spare. It can often fly by before we realize that it didn't incorporate much besides rest and fun. Both of those are good things, but they should not be the only purpose of summer. On our first summer episode, we discussed what using our time wisely this summer means and how to honor God with our time. We recommend you... Semester 2, Week 15: What is Challenge?

Guys, congratulations! We've made it to the end of our 2022-2023 school year. We pray that this podcast has blessed, encouraged, and helped you through this school year! Today, we discussed the Challenge Program. We talked about what it is, compared it with other co-ops, and broke down each of the strands.  We read through Philippians 3:7-14, and we talked about how much Christ is worth in comparison with earthly treasure and how to fight to see Him as such.  We quizzed each other on old CC memory work and had a surprising winner! We hope your summer is going wondefully. We will be back on Friday, June 9th with an episode on stewarding summer and honoring the Lord with the use of our free time! See you then!
