The Resurrection of the Dead

This sermon explores the Nicene Creed’s declaration, “We look forward to the resurrection of the dead,” through the lens of 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50–58. Rooted in the hope of Christ’s return and the promise of bodily resurrection, it highlights how the Holy Spirit — “the Lord, the giver of life” — raised Jesus from the dead, now dwells in believers, and will one day raise us too. Because of that future hope, Christians can grieve with hope, stand firm in suffering, and give themselves fully to the work of the Lord, knowing that death will not have the final word.

He Reigns

When fear tells us to run because the foundations are collapsing, faith lifts our eyes to the God who still reigns, still sees, still refines, and still welcomes His people into His presence.

Identified with Christ

This week in our We Believe series, we’ll explore what the Bible teaches about baptism — why Jesus calls His followers to it, what it symbolizes, and why it’s such an important step of obedience and public faith.

One Church

This message will begin by recognizing how difficult it is for believers to say "I believe in the Church," while also digging into what we mean when we say it. We'll be reminded that Jesus is building His Church (Matthew 16:18) - a Church that is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic. We'll also reflect on the part we each play in living out these descriptions.

Through the Prophets

This sermon will explore the words of the Creed, "He (the Holy Spirit) spoke through the prophets." We'll consider how the Holy Spirit still speaks to us today and uses the Scriptures that He inspired to shape us into the likeness of Jesus.
