In 2016, Aziza and her family were hit head-on by a wrong-way drunk driver on Walzem and 35. Her fiancé Johnny — a veteran of two wars — swerved to take the impact and died protecting his family. Two of her daughters were in the car. And instead of letting that moment destroy her, she built something from it.
