Brandon - Context

This is part two in my sit down with Brandon, a pastor in the Atlanta area. In this episode we talk about context and putting commonly heard Christian phrases or quotes into their right context. One example of this (that we hear ALL the time) is "the truth will set you free". I also ask Brandon what he wishes would click with culture and what he believes culture needs clarity on. Finally, we talk about some resources he recommends to folks needing clarity on the issues discussed in part 1 & 2.

This is an issue that is far more prevalent than we may sometimes think, or even want to admit, but it’s important to work through. Brandon discusses the way Scripture speaks directly to this issue, and ways that Christian’s can navigate this. I also wanted to discuss seeing pastors and big name Christian leaders in negative news headlines. This is something we see a lot of. I want to ask him about this. Brandon points out that this isn’t new, and it goes back to the church in its earliest days.
