This Sunday we gather, to join in the disciples in celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit the breath of God.

It seems that when God desires to move in a transformative way around the world, he invites a person or a community. Matthew 9:35-38 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples,“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest. ”

We are all on some kind of road in life. Maybe it is a joyous road. Maybe for someone here it has been a tough road and even tougher it has been for a long time and you quite do not know how this ends. For someone else you are on a tough road at work...you cannot quite tell how things will work out. For someone else you are on a tough road in your family...I cannot even name them all...but we are all on some road in life! To sum it all up, we live in a very uncertain and unpredictable world...where the toughest thing is to make sense of all that is unfolding and what needs to happen next
