Conversations in the Barn
Why do people wander from faith, community, and the life God intends for them? In this episode of Conversations in the Barn, we explore James 5:19-20 and the image of wandering livestock that sits behind James' final challenge to the church. Most people don't drift away in a moment of dramatic rebellion. More often, it happens slowly through distraction, isolation, hurt, or simply choosing good things over the best things. We'll talk about spiritual drift, repentance, the people who refuse to give up on us when we wander, and why following Jesus means joining the search-and-rescue effort for others. Along the way, I'll share a personal story about my brother, reflect on a timely answer to prayer for rain here in northeast Wyoming, and consider what it looks like to help people find their way home. 📖 Scripture: James 5:19-20 Conversations in the Barn is the podcast of Black Hills Cowboy Church, where we explore faith, Scripture, and everyday life from a Wyoming perspective. #ConversationsInTheBarn #BlackHillsCowboyChurch #James5 #FaithJourney #ChristianPodcast #CowboyChurch #Discipleship #SpiritualGrowth #Repentance #Grace #Wyoming #BibleStudy #FollowingJesus #ChristianLiving #Prayer ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast.
