Descripción

Ephesians 6:1-4 teaches that families flourish under Christ’s lordship when children honor and obey their parents, parents lovingly and intentionally disciple their children, and everyone remembers the gospel of grace.   Obedience and discipline are shown as God’s wise design, not burdensome rules. Because all parents and children fail, the foundation of a healthy home is not perfection but forgiveness and power through Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:1-31 | In the Beginning, God

Pastor Josh introduces Genesis 1 as the opening of a larger story of redemption, emphasizing that the Bible is ultimately about God and points to Jesus from beginning to end.   It argues that the main question of Genesis is not modern debates about origins, but who made the world, how He made it, and why—namely, that the one true God created all things by His powerful Word, bringing order, beauty, and life out of chaos.   The message also connects creation to Christ, presenting Jesus as the eternal Word through whom all things were made and through whom God brings new creation and salvation.   Finally, it says God created the world for His glory and out of His grace, inviting listeners to worship Him, see His handiwork in creation, and trust Him to bring light and renewal into their lives.
