Well, if you're following a 12-week course build cycle you’ve reached the end of the road and in doing so have built a great course to Teach & Inspire!  As you wrap up accessibility checking and a final review of the course let’s take a quick peek at how the things you’ve been doing have supported alignment with recognized quality assurance programs.

Arduous Accessibility Checking

As one rounds the corner heading towards the end of acourse build cycle, looking at accessibility in the course and using tools to check for content that is not accessible as accessible content is no longeroptional but a requirement for internet content and in the online world.    In this episode we take a high-level overview of accessibility, and some tools that are out there to review for accessibility issues.

Rubrics, Assignments & Assessments

The deadline for all content being developed and ready to load into the course is this week, and next week we’ll be wrapping up course build tasks.  One of those tasks is adding or reviewing rubrics to your course discussions and assignments.  his week we take a quick look at the value rubrics have for not only the student but also the department and the program overall!
