In part one of two episodes, I talk with award winning documentary filmmaker, Michael Dominic. We discuss his early life and artistic studies, his time spent in London as a pop video director and the inspiration and production process for his first feature, Sunshine Hotel. Set in one of the last transient hotels or "Flop Houses," in New York's Bowery, it tells the stories of the men who live there in their own words. We even find time to talk about our mutual hero William Shatner, and his REAL trip into space.
