A commercial art like graphic design is always connected to the zeitgeist, but what I understood with Felipe, is that visual expression for him is intimately connected to who he is. David's career began in advertising, where he became an award winning creative director, working with some of the biggest brands in the world. But his visceral and personal relationship with storytelling eventually helped him establish an open relationship with the corporate world and led him into filmmaking. David talks about finding your own voice, creating healing metaphors through storytelling and learning how to love yourself through others.
