In Episode 9, we talk to artist and printmaker, Mike Pennekamp from Metaluna Press. Mike grew up in the steel town of Granite City, Illinois with a passion for art and creativity. Mike obtained his degree from Southern Illinois University and later a Master's Degree in Fine Arts. We discuss the frugality of being a student without loans, the education system, life as an artist, and the demystification of art.  Mike has been working in the printmaking industry for the last 10-12 years and sells his work under the brand, Metaluna Press. He is also demo artist and brand ambassador for the art and printmaking brand, Speedball.
