While I sympathize with undocumented immigrants who are trying to build a better life, I also recognize the serious issues caused by illegal immigration, especially when it leads to crime. I believe Selena and other public figures can do more than just cry on social media—they have the platform and resources to drive real change. Using scripture, particularly Romans 13, I emphasize the importance of respecting laws while acknowledging the struggles immigrants face in obtaining citizenship.
