Dancing in the Mess
This episode was a sweet honor to our younger parts and to both of us who happened to have nervous system storms that were actually happening around the same time about 5 years ago! I loved talking with Shenikka about reparenting the parts of us that have core unmet needs. This episode is about inner child healing and moving towards ourselves with love. I discovered that we both did the exact same training in somatic parts work. How fun is that? Parts work and inner child healing is a big part of both of our approaches to helping clients. I’m so grateful we could have this conversation together and that Shenikka graciously led a guided somatic practice at the end. It’s so amazing to me how every time I connect somatically like this I understand a part of me to a deeper degree.
