Forced into the Nazi army in 1943 at the age of 13, Wilhelm's story is one of indoctrination, survival on the Russian front, and the lifelong struggle with PTSD. Heidi reflects on growing up in the shadow of his silence and how this legacy shaped her own life as a Navy spouse.
