Months after the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, alongside many significant social justice movements that erupted this year; Leen & Iman are joined by Marcus Roi (@marsthepoet) and co-host of Yawa Magazine's "Uncomfortable Conversations" series Funmilade Taiwo (@ftaiwo) to reflect on the conversations surrounding these movements. Drawing from our own reflections and personal experiences, we address the ways in which compassion and empathy need to be at the forefront when having conversations around social justice and advocacy.
