Episode #1 - Defining Moments

Defining moments are those times in our lives that are so powerfully memorable that they impact us forever. It's been 2 years since Shannon recorded a podcast episode, and this is her comeback as she talks about the defining moments in her life that still impact her today. From the life-long question, "What's wrong with your face?" to the moment someone told her she was talented, Shannon remembers those defining moments as the fuel that drove her to a life of contentment.

It's been a year since Shannon recorded a podcast episode and she's back with guest, Sheila Dills, state representative for Oklahoma, who tells the story of finding her way back in the kitchen after becoming widowed during the pandemic.

Episode #8 - 29 Countries and Grandma's Stuffing

Shannon visits with Amber Day, as she tells stories of her travels to 29 countries in one year. Their friendship began on Facebook when Amber made a unique request for the perfect cornbread stuffing. It led to meeting up a few months later in India, the last country on Amber's adventure.

Shannon and her British bestie, Rachael became fast friends in India, and have traveled together around the world, eating their way through every city, and ordering Rachael's favorite cocktail, Sex On The Beach.

Episode #6 - There's More than One Way to Curry a Chicken

After eating an Indian feast, Shannon and Andrea quiz their doctor friend who grew up in a hotel in India before choosing to practice medicine in Oklahoma. The hospitality of the Indian culture comes through at the end of the interview when Shannon receives a special gift on her doorstep.
