Our scripture will be taken from Jeremiah 32:40, and it reads: “I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.” The Lord promises to establish a lasting covenant with us and pour out his goodness upon us, ensuring that his blessings and kindness will never cease. Furthermore, he promises to instill within us a reverence and respect for him, nurturing a steadfast spirit that will guide our hearts. This deep-seated fear will empower us to remain unwavering in our commitment, ensuring we will never turn away from the Lord's presence. As we pray, let us ask ourselves the questions. What does it mean for us to live under the assurance that God will continually do good in our lives? How does this call to reverence our relationship with God shape our daily actions? And how do we understand this everlasting covenant that can transform our lives and deepen our faith? Support the show [https://elyonbc.com/donation.html]

Jun 1 - Day 152. God will give us one heart and a new spirit.

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2201577/fan_mail/new] Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is the beginning of June, a month filled with peace, love, and awareness. As we step into this beautiful month, let us pray without ceasing.  As mentioned earlier, our prayers throughout the year will be taken from the 66 books of the Bible. We began in the book of Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation.  Today, we are diving into the book of Ezekiel. Our scripture will be taken from Ezekiel 11:19-20, and it reads, “Then I will give them one heart; I will put a new spirit within them and take the stony heart out of their flesh. Give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; they shall be My people, and I will be their God.”  The Lord promises to unite our hearts as one, placing a new and glowing spirit within us, transforming our hardened hearts into compassionate, loving hearts.  As we pray, let us ask the Lord to empower us to live in accordance with his statutes, to uphold his judgments, and to act upon them with sincerity and dedication. For we will truly be his people, and in turn, he will embrace us as his own, fostering a deep and lasting relationship built on mutual commitment and love.
