Elevator Bullpen Season 2 Episode 5: Season Finale Challenge

Joshua Rapier and Kyle Scher return for the season finale of season two of Elevator Bullpen. In this episode, they are challenged to build on the other's pitch. They both choose one of the four previous pitches of the other person and pitch an addition to that pitch, be it a sequel, prequel, spinoff, etc. 1. Josh pitches a standalone but thematically connected episode to expand upon Kyle's A Tale Of Two Gallifreys series. In 101 Time And Places To Go Before You Die, The Doctor and Lysandra find themselves time scooped from the safety of the TARDIS into a bizarre and dangerous quiz show run by an old foe of The Doctor. But just who is really pulling The Meddling Monk's strings… 2. Following on from Josh’s Amazing Spider-Man 3 pitch, Kyle pitches a 3-episode boxset audio drama series called Web of the Amazing Spider-Man: Silver Bullets. In this prequel following Kraven the Hunter, we see as this villain meticulously stalks his prey to get what he wants and then destroys them. Current prey: Silver Sable and the Wild Pack.

Elevator Bullpen Season 2 Episode 4: Uncharted

Josh and Kyle return for the penultimate episode of the second season. In this episode, they pitch their takes on the Uncharted franchise transferring it from primarily video games to some other creative mediums. 1. Kyle pitches a five-issue comic book miniseries entitled Uncharted: The Best Driver in the Business. Follow Chloe Frazer as she goes on a series of independent yet connected adventures between each game in the franchise, seeing her develop into the heroic treasure hunter we see in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy 2. Explore both the early and latter days of the womanizing and ethically dubious fortune seeker, Victor 'Goddamn’ Sullivan, as Josh pitches Uncharted: Fools Gold, a Five part prequel audio drama podcast in the throwback style of a 1940’s Radio serial. Kicked out of the navy and forced to become a freelance smuggler, a younger and green Sulley finds he has bitten much more than he can chew when agreeing to help transport Katherine Marlowe of the Hermetic Order to the Gates Of Hell.

Elevator Bullpen Season 2 Episode 3: Cancelled Superhero Sequel Movie Revival

Josh and Kyle return for the third episode of the second season. In this episode, they pitch on something that could have been. Many superhero movies get greenlit but then fall through, well the same is true for superhero movie sequels. Kyle and Josh might not go in the direction you expect. 1. As a self-proclaimed defender of the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man duology and with public interest bigger than ever with TASM’s Peter return and character development in No Way Home, Josh brings his take on a potential Amazing Spider-Man 3. In a dark place for years since the night Gwen Stacy died, focusing more on his actions as Spider-Man while letting his life as Peter Parker fall apart, an encounter with himself from two other universes reinvigorates a lost hope in Peter, to better himself and reclaim the glorious sense of teamwork he had in the other universe, partnering with new vigilante on the block The Prowler and international crime fighter Kraven. But as ever the shadows of the Osborns and their cabal loom large and to rise to the challenge to dismantle this empire, Peter once again finds himself on a self-destructive path. Can he truly be the best Spider-Man the world needs him to be if the life problems of Peter Parker are in the way; or will a hidden deathwish threaten to destroy Peter and everyone in his life… 2. Elevator Bullpen Season 2 Episode 2: Public Domain (Literary)

Josh and Kyle return for the second episode of the second season. In this episode, they pitch what they would do with certain literary works that are in the Public Domain. 1. Kyle takes the public domain short story “Citadel of Lost Ships” by Leigh Brackett and adapts it to an animated film. Follow Roy Campbell, a criminal who is on a quest for redemption as he finds himself embroiled in a conflict revolving around the forced relocation of the indigenous tribes of Venus in the name of progress and profit. 2. Josh throws aside his own rules and reasoning to bring a mash-up of beloved public domain characters like you’ve never heard before in ‘Literacy Idiocy” A cozy evening at 221B Baker Street is dashed aside when Holmes and Watson are called to investigate the murder of Dorothy Gale; it seems she was crushed by the house meant for the Wicked Witch. The lists of suspects are growing bigger and more unruly, Jay Gatsby is spilling his champagne over the crime scene, Winnie The Pooh is developing a taste for meat and there is a mouse somewhere in the walls messing up the works. And that’s before things get really weird… also did we mention this is a musical?

In this episode, they each tackle their own vision of Doctor Who by each pitching a fancast Doctor and a season of stories. 1. Joshua pitches the first season of Doctor Who: Boundless. In a Universe of discord, greed, and bigotry, one blue box can unite the most unlikely of strangers, the most lonely of cosmic runaways. They don’t have a home, but as they travel through time and space, they sure can try to save the homes of others from the evils that threaten to destroy it 2. Kyle pitches the first season of a three-season arc that will take Doctor Who in a new direction called Doctor Who: A Tale of Two Gallifreys. Gallifrey is a broken world, from its ashes rise two different possible paths for the Time Lords. Romana the Lady President of Jewel and Rassilon the Lord President Eternal of New Gallifrey are locked in a battle of ideology that might unravel the fabric of time itself. In the middle of the chaos is The Doctor who has to face his future in a very literal way.
