I used to think the Sabbath was about restriction—what I couldn’t do, what I had to avoid, and a list of rules to follow.But as I’ve been studying Exodus, something deeper is unfolding.The Sabbath was never meant to be a checklist. It is a sign between God and His people—a weekly invitation to enter into His presence, remember who He is, and remember who we are to Him.In this episode, I walk through Exodus 31 and Exodus 32, where we see two powerful contrasts: the sacred sign of the Sabbath… and the story of the golden calf. One is about covenant.
