Witch Watch Review(ish)

Witch Watch is a fun fantasy-romance manga by Kenta Shinohara, running in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2021. It follows Nico, a young witch who moves in with her oblivious crush, Morihito—a human-looking ogre tasked with protecting her. While Nico hopes to turn their friendship into romance, the two face chaotic magical mishaps and supernatural adventures together. The manga has sold over 1.1 million copies, and an anime adaptation began in April 2025.

To Be Hero X Review(ish)

Directed by Li Haoling and produced by bilibili, BeDream, Studio LAN, and Aniplex, the series premiered on April 6, 2025, on Fuji TV and bilibili, with global streaming releases on Netflix and Prime Video the following day. Crunchyroll is also simulcasting the series for international audiences.

Retaining his Sentai powers—including transformation and a Megazord—he adapts to this new world as an adventurer, joining forces with Princess Teltina, determined to eradicate demonic possession; Idola, a sorceress striving to redeem her family’s legacy; and Rosie, the princess’s loyal yet overshadowed bodyguard.
