05: Conformity and Freedom: Breaking free from societal expectations and walking your true path

For episode 5, I honestly wasn’t sure at first what I wanted to talk about. Then this thought about societal expectations just popped into my head. I didn’t have the exact topic figured out right away, but eventually I did. Conformity being something I’ve never really agreed with, and a topic that’s super close to my heart. That’s why I decided to go with Conformity and Freedom. This episode feels really special to me because of how much this topic means. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the relationship between conformity and freedom, how they play out in our lives, why freedom doesn’t have to be doing the exact opposite of what society expects and why breaking away from expectations can feel both scary and liberating. So let’s dive in and talk about what it really means to live freely, without losing ourselves to conformity.
