Descripción

After a bit of a break, episode 3 of A I’m Talking Here has finally arrived! Adam Drake (co-founder of Reflekta.ai [https://reflekta.ai/]) and I have worked together across multiple marketing agencies over the past decade—mostly by insulting each other. Now that we’re both deep in the AI space, it was time to reconnect and see if our linguistic sparring could survive the transition. We start by exploring how our marketing and writing backgrounds prepared us to naturally ‘speak’ AI—turns out creative briefs and prompt engineering aren’t that different. From there, the conversation shifts to Reflekta’s creation, the ethics of building AI that holds personal memory, and why pause and consideration matter more than speed when releasing new technology. As writers, we both gravitate toward empathy, language, and storytelling—skills that are becoming essential in the age of AI, not optional. While Reflekta and Fire & Algebra take different approaches, we share a goal: making AI interactions more meaningful while maintaining psychological safety around simulated personalities. Most people focus on productivity. We’re focused on making AI actually helpful. Hope you enjoy—let us know your thoughts in the comments! A.I'm Talking Here! Episode 2: Natalia Cote-Munoz (Part 2)

Thanks for coming to the second episode of the Fire & Algebra podcast: A.I’m Talking here! This is the second part of my conversation with Natalia Cote-Munoz, author of Artificial Inquiry. We begin with a more in-depth discussion on creativity & AI, then dig into the importance of expectation-setting, understanding, and meaningful, deliberate integration with our lives. Subscribe to Artificial Inquiry [https://artificialinquiry.substack.com/] This is part 2 of a two-part conversation. Part 1 can be found here [https://open.substack.com/pub/fireandalgebra/p/aim-talking-here-episode-1-natalia?r=5zyv3c&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true] (or in your podcast feed). The goal of A.I’m Talking Here! is to dive into the constantly evolving intersection of AI & humanity - focusing on a collaborative spirit that benefits both. I want to bring together the two disparate sets of thinkers I find myself between: the Substack philosophers, ethicists, & theorists, and the more business-minded LinkedIn crowd, to find a meaningful balance across all aspects of AI integration. It was fantastic getting to chat with someone as brilliant as Natalia, whose knowledge & experience with AI is so lived in. We originally connected through her article on AI & Neurodivergence [https://substack.com/@ncotemunoz/p-168677406], and I never miss a new Artificial Inquiry post.
